The Suffolk Cyber Crime Unit aims to combat the rising number of cyber and cyber enabled crime. The unit will be responsible for investigating all offences where networked computers or technology have bee nused to commit crimes, from child pornography, human trafficking, drugs and contraband and the increasing problem of online fraud.

LIRCB Computer Crimes Unit
The Labor, Insurance and Revenue Crimes Bureau is created by the District Attorney to apply a multidisciplinary approach to addressing crimes that undermine U.S. economy and drain needed revenue from the public by integrating several units to comprehensively address these crimes. The Computer Crimes Unit is staffed by specially-trained detective investigators who are responsible for investigating crimes under Article 156 of the Penal law. The unit also assists the SCPD Computer Crime Section investigations.
Cary PD – Cyber Crimes Unit
The Town of Cary Police Department is only one of four agencies in the Triangle area to have a Cyber Crimes Unit proactively pursuing online offenders. Detectives have developed areas of expertise in subjects such as sex offenses, child abuse and neglect, juvenile crimes, forgery and fraud, white collar crime, and computer crimes. Detectives also maintain a close working relationship with other local, state and federal law enforcement agencies, as well as with the District Attorney’s office
Nixa PD – Cyber Crimes Unit
The Nixa Police Department created a Cyber Crimes Unit and joined the Tri-Lakes Internet Crimes Task Force in early 2010. The Cyber Crimes Unit mainly focuses on Internet crimes directed towards the sexual abuse, exploitation and enticement of children. In December of 2011, the Nixa Cyber Crimes Unit received state-of-the-art equipment from the Tri-Lakes Internet Crimes Task Force seated in Stone County to begin conducting forensic examinations.
Long Beach PD – Computer Crimes Detail
The Computer Crimes Detail investigates cases where a computer is the target of a crime or an instrument used in the commission or furtherance of a crime. The Computer Crimes Detail is frequently called on to assist other investigative units, as well as federal and local law enforcement agencies with the seizure and processing of computer-related evidence.

The Cyber Crime Unit (CCU) investigates computer-related crime. The unit assists in collection and preservation of electronic crime evidence and provides support for other investigations.
