The ISP Internet Crimes Unit was established to fight internet crime, protect families and communities from sexual predators and give law enforcement the tools and resources they need to go after criminals. The ICU is dedicated solely to combating online crime, including identity theft, child pornography and drug solicitation. The ISP also uses NetSmartz as its primary internet safety educational tool to the public.

Indiana State Police – Cyber Crime Unit & Crimes Against Children Unit
The Indiana State Police assign detectives to specialize in cyber crime, child pornography, and developing intelligence information about criminal activity. There are also 28 trained Digital media Recovery Specialists who are utilized throughout the state on as needed basis to conduct on-scene computer previews.

Louisiana Office of the Attorney General – High Tech Crime Unit (HTCU)
The mission of HTCU is the investigation, interdiction and prosecution of all computer related crimes in the State of Louisiana. HTCU initiates its own proactive investigations into crimes involving computers and technology and consists of a computer forensics examiner specialized in analyzing and recovering cyber data. HTCU also arranges training sessions for local law enforcement officers to make them aware of the problems in cyberspace.
Maine State Police – Computer Crimes Unit
The Computer Crimes Unit investigates computer crimes, provides computer forensics services, and provides training, technical support and legal support to law enforcement officers and prosecutors throughout the State.
Maryland State Police – Computer Crimes Section
The Maryland State Police Computer Crimes Section is responsible for coordinating the Maryland Center for Missing Children, the Computer Forensic Laboratory, Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force, Child Recovery, and Computer Crimes.
Baltimore Police Department – Cyber and Electronic Crimes Unit
The Cyber & Electronic Crime Unit is a Maryland ICAC-affiliated agency and assists with investigations involving the use of internet: Child Pornography, Credit Card Fraud, Cyber Stalking/Bullying, and much more. The unit also provides computer related digital media forensic services, evidence recovery, and education to the public in order to increase the public awareness of cyber crime.
Montgomery County Police Financial Crimes Section – Computer Crime Unit
The Financial Crimes Section investigates crimes involving forgery/uttering, embezzlement, counterfeiting of checks/credit cards, financial exploitation of the elderly, and identity theft. The Computer Crime Unit, which is housed within the Financial Crimes Section, is responsible for computer forensics and conducting investigations involving computers, cell phones, and digital devices used as tools in a crime.
