Western District of Virginia U.S. AttorneyÕs Office – Project Safe Childhood

Project Safe Childhood is a nationwide Department of Justice initiative that began in 2006 to reduce the number of children who are victims of child sexual exploitation. The goals of Project Safe Childhood include collaborating with federal, state, and local partners to most effectively combat the threat of child sexual exploitation by maximizing investigations and prosecutions and maximizing the resources available to identify and help victims of these horrific crimes. Virginia National Guard

The VANG currently has 38 personnel mobilized on federal missions in support of US Cyber Command and Army Cyber Command.
