Kansas City Police Department – Cyber Crimes Task Force

The Cyber Crimes Task Force was developed in 2002 to identify and prosecute online sexual predators who use the Internet to meet and exploit children and who produce, possess, or share child pornography. Detectives with the CCTF work on a multi-jurisdictional team and KCPD detectives submit cases for state or federal prosecution depending on individual circumstances.

Joplin Police Department – Southwest MO Cyber Crimes Task Force

The Southwest Missouri Cyber Crime Task Force (SMCCTF) encompasses the 13 counties in the southwest corner of Missouri. The major focus of the SMCCTF is the detection, investigation, apprehension, and prosecution of sexual predators who exploit children through the use of the Internet. Investigations may include Internet enticement of children, promotion and possession of child pornography, trafficking of children, terrorist threats such as plots of violence at schools, or other crimes consistent with the ICAC standards and procedures.

Delaware State Police – High Tech Crime Unit

The High Tech Crime Unit conducts comprehensive investigations involving computers and computer related technology. In 2007 the HTCU joined forces with the Delaware Attorney GeneralÕs Office, U.S. AttorneyÕs Office, and federal law enforcement agencies to form the Delaware Child Predator Task Force. This highly successful Task Force is responsible for coordinating online child exploitation investigations and prosecutions throughout the state as they proactively identify, arrest, and prosecute sexual predators who would use technology as a means to target and reach their victims.

The FBI has 56 field offices centrally located in major metropolitan areas across the U.S. and Puerto Rico. These offices carry out investigations, assess local and regional crime threats, and work closely with partners on cases and operations. Within these field offices are a total of about 380 resident agencies located in smaller cities and towns.
