The Financial Crimes Unit is responsible for investigating cases related to embezzlement, forgery, fraud, identity theft, credit card abuse, computer crimes and scams.

Pueblo County Sheriff’s Office – High Tech Crimes Unit
The Pueblo County Sheriff’s High-Tech Crimes Unit responds to computer crime complaints for victims who live in the county (not the city).
Parkersburg PD – Computer Crimes Unit
In March of 2012, Chief Joe Martin assigned an officer to investigate internet crimes against children, designated I.C.A.C., on a full-time basis. Detective Travis Wolfe is officially a part of two task forces, the West Virginia Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force (I.C.A.C.) and the West Virginia Cyber Crimes Task Force, which is established and funded by the FBI. Detective Wolfe is working with the FBI, ICE, WVU, Marshall, and State and local law enforcement agencies to protect our children.
Solvay PD – Felony Crimes Unit
The Felony Crimes Unit is responsible for providing comprehensive investigations to the Village of Solvay, including computer crimes.
Naperville PD – High Tech Computer Crimes
This unit investigates computer and technology based crimes including sexting, cyber-bullying, computer tampering, internet crimes against children, undercover child pornography investigation, computer/internet based financial fraud and some community education on keeping kids safe on social media and the internet. This unit also investigates less serious offenses such as theft, criminal damage to property, and disorderly conduct.
San Francisco PD – Internet Exploitation Unit
The Juvenile and Family Services Division’s Internet Exploitation Unit investigates all cases involving the exploitation of children online. The Internet Exploitation Unit also facilitates education programs in San Francisco schools designed to develop online safety awareness.
Monmouth County Prosecutor – Computer Crimes Unit
The Unit is comprised of two assistant prosecutors, one of whom serves as the Unit director, detectives and support staff. The Unit investigates and prosecutes a variety of crimes, including online theft and auction fraud, electronically communicated threats, network intrusions, online child predation, and the possession and distribution of child pornography. Additionally, the Computer Crimes Unit provides investigative and legal support to other units/agencies involved in the investigation and prosecution of crimes involving electronic evidence.
Chula Vista PD – Property Crimes
The Property Crimes Unit investigates all property related crimes including commercial burglary, residential burglary, motor vehicle theft, fraud, forgery, arson, computer and Internet related theft or fraud.
Victoria PD – Cyber Crimes Unit
This unit has investigators extensively trained in a wide variety of subjects which include: Computer Crimes Forensic Analysis of Computers / Hard Drives Forensic Analysis of Electronic Devices Internet Crimes Against Children Child Pornography Internet Solicitation
St. Petersburg PD – Economic Crimes Unit
Economic Crimes Unit investigates frauds, forgeries and similar offenses that are held online. This unit also includes Investigators who monitor activity at pawn and secondhand shops to ensure compliance with applicable laws and ordinances, and investigators who follow up environmental and computer-related crime.
