The mission of the Sacramento Valley Hi-Tech Crimes Task Force is multi-jurisdictional investigations; tracking and disruption of commerce involving stolen goods; and investigation and prosecution of those engaged and participating in white-collar crime, organized crime, crimes against persons, and fraud when high technology or identity theft is a factor.

San Diego County Sheriff’s Department – Computer And Technology Crime High Tech Response Team (CATCH)
CATCH is a multi-agency task force that apprehends and prosecutes criminals who use technology to prey on citizens. CATCH was formed combining local, state, and federal law enforcement agencies from San Diego, Riverside, and Imperial counties. CATCH cases are vertically prosecuted meaning the same prosecutor handles the case from start to finish. Cooperation between CATCH, other high-tech task forces, and the private sector industry is critical to the success of combating high-tech crimes.
Los Angeles Police Department – Computer Crimes Unit
The Computer Crimes Unit handles cyber crimes that include Unlawful Computer Access, Hacking, Theft of Data, Network Intrusion, Denial of Service Attacks, and the more complex and/or high dollar value Internet fraud cases (Over $10,000). CCU is responsible for all digital forensics within the Los Angeles Police Department and the Digital Forensics Team also works with the United States Secret Service Electronic Crimes Task Force.
Colorado Department of Public Safety – Colorado Bureau of Investigation
CBI investigates and responds to cyber crimes in cooperation and coordination with local, state and federal law enforcement agencies. CBI also prepares annual reports concerning cyber crimes in Colorado for use by local and federal law enforcement officials and by ColoradoĆs governor. CBI can respond only at the specific request of a police department, sheriff’s’ office or district attorneys’ office.
Connecticut Department of Emergency Services and Public Protection – Computer Crimes and Electronic Evidence Laboratory
The Computer Crimes Laboratory, one of the founding members of the ICAC Task Force Program, is comprised of state and local police officers working in conjunction with computer forensic science examiners. The investigative component of the Computer Crimes Laboratory conducts both proactive and reactive criminal investigations, assists other federal, state and local law enforcement agencies, and provides trainings and an array of community resources. Florida Attorney General Child Predator Cybercrime Unit
The Attorney General’s Cybercrime Unit includes law enforcement investigators and prosecutors whose primary mission is to target child predators, child pornography, and sexual exploitation of children using a computer, the internet, digital media, cellular phone, personal digital assistant (PDA), or any other electronic device. The investigators and the prosecutors in the Unit are specially trained in current technologies, tactics, and the law, and share their expertise through educational programs and with other law enforcement agencies.
Georgia Bureau of Investigation – Child Exploitation and Computer Crimes Unit
The mission of Child Exploitation and Computer Crimes Unit is to assist state and local law enforcement agencies in developing an effective response to cyber enticement, child pornography cases and child sex trafficking. This support encompasses forensic and investigative components, training and technical assistance, victim services, prevention and community education.
FBI Innocent Images National Initiative
Innocent Images National Initiative is an undercover operation to disrupt and dismantle online groups, organizations, and for-profit enterprises that seek to exploit children. Hundreds of agents are working undercover at more than 30 operations nationwide. The unit also works with the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children, which aids in indentifying victims.
Alabama Law Enforcement Agency – CyberCrimes Unit
The CyberCrime Unit within the State Bureau of Investigations is made up of members from the Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force and other Agents with specialized training in Fraud investigations. These Investigators are housed throughout the State of Alabama and conduct a variety of criminal investigations.
Arkansas State Police – Crimes Against Children Division
The Crimes Against Children Division is comprised of a central administrative office, hotline operations and 9 area investigative offices. The Hotline Call Center is staffed by a team of specially trained personnel and may launch an investigative based on reports which meet the criteria of state and federal laws. Reports of child maltreatment can be reported by anyone, 24-hours a day, and 7 days a week.
